This case is intended for an undergraduate- or graduate-level course on human resource management. After completion of the case, students will be able to do the following: Describe internal, external, and non-traditional means of recruiting in a tight, transient labour market. Determine decision criteria and apply those criteria to identify successful candidates. Identify strengths and areas for improvement in the human resource management process for a business that depends on a culture of excellent customer service.
