“You have just accomplished one of the easiest seasons of your life.” It’s not exactly what a newly graduated student expects to hear. Thriving in these new seasons depends on God’s sovereignty, continued Lorna Dueck, speaker at the graduation ceremony and host and executive producer of Context with Lorna Dueck. Dueck’s address, “The Difference You Will Make In The World,” reminded graduates that it is through God’s sovereignty that they will revitalize the culture that surrounds them. And it is through the Christian community that graduates find in these new seasons that they will stay close to Christ.

With these reminders, Dueck sent off the Class of 2016. During the May 28 ceremony, graduates Jonathan Van Santen and Victoria Mulock were recognized for their academic achievement and Christian leadership. Jonathan was presented with the Faculty Award and Victoria was presented with the Governor General’s Silver Medal.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016!
