From May 7 to August 24, 2018, Garner Road will be marked closed between Southcote Road and Glancaster Road, but local traffic will still be able to access businesses like Redeemer University College and Bennett’s Apples and Cider. During construction, Redeemer’s main entrance on Garner Road will remain open.
Visitors and local traffic heading east on Garner Road (passing Southcote Road and Kitty Murray Lane) will still be able to access the main entrance. Travellers driving west to campus via Rymal Road and Garner Road (passing Glancaster Road and Springbrook Road) will require an alternate route.
Bus service through the HSR Rymal 44 line will continue. The planned detour will have buses turn on Kitty Murray Lane and pass by Redeemer’s second entrance (at the Kitty Murray Lane and Roelfson Drive roundabout) for stops.
