There is some great news for the beginning of the academic year: Although final confirmation will not be made for a few weeks, enrolment is expected to come in between 835 and 840 full-time equivalent students (FTE — a measure of full and part-time students). Prior to this year, Redeemer’s highest FTE was 826, in 2006-07. Redeemer will also have a record number of students living on-campus this year. Currently, 411 students are in residence. These numbers are higher than was expected for the 2008-09 academic year, and are especially gratifying given concerns earlier this summer about lower numbers. “Reputation, recruitment and retention have all worked together to give this result. Thank you for all your efforts that help make this possible,” notes President Cooper. “Praise God for his indispensable blessing!”
