Home Base

I have grown up in the Owen Sound area my entire life! I love living in the beautiful South Bruce Peninsula and seeing God’s beautiful creation in my backyard every day!

Major

I am a third-year student majoring in English writing and minoring in psychology. Kids truly bring me joy so I am planning on attending teachers college after graduation!

Stimulating Subject Matter

I’ve learned about the overall importance and beauty in joy! As Nehemiah 8:10 says, “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” The amount of joy I have experienced, especially this past year, has been indescribable. God is so so good, opening my eyes each and every day to see his goodness!

Unique You

My friends describe me as “easily excitable.” Yes, that was probably me running to see the sunset, and yes, we are celebrating because you got an extra tomato on your burger. Oh and May 15 is Bring Someone Flowers day, so yes, I will be making many flower deliveries that day!

“‘The joy of the Lord is my strength.’ The amount of joy I have experienced, especially this past year, has been indescribable. God is so so good.”

Faith Moment

Since I grew up in a Christian household, I always felt my faith was a part of everything I did. But since coming to Redeemer, God has truly opened my eyes to the love and blessings that surround my life. He has shown me how much I have to be grateful for and the many blessings he has given me. This year, I started the Bible in a Year plan, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! God has been opening my eyes each and every day to see his goodness!

In Conversation with Christ

When I see Jesus face to face, I would love to listen to a long list of every time God has used small things for big reasons–how people have planted seeds in the lives of others and then they have become something beautiful, like it says in Mark 4:26-29.

Redeemer Love

I love the community aspect at Redeemer! But most importantly, the Christian community! Whether you are chatting with friends in the dining hall or having a late night chat in your dorm, Christ is at the heart of every conversation!
