Redeemer University is an exciting place to be. The student body continues to grow with record numbers for incoming class (366), total enrolment (1,094) and residence life (556) this past fall. Since tuition and fee restructuring began in 2019, reducing domestic undergraduate tuition by 42 per cent, Redeemer’s student body has grown by 39 per cent.
The past five years have been guided by the Learn. Forward. 2025 Strategic Plan, which set out in 2020 to prepare Kingdom-centred, innovative graduates to make a profound impact in a rapidly changing, complex and digital world. Read more about the many exciting projects that have been completed, including a rebrand, a refreshed mission and vision statement with organizational values, a major new building on campus and four new degree programs. God has blessed the university, including through the generosity of Redeemer’s support community.
The university continues to look for creative ways to serve more students by offering new programs that will extend the reach of Redeemer’s mission. This past year, Redeemer launched a not-for-profit management certificate and a series of church leadership microcredentials. Planning is underway for new master’s degree programs beginning next year as well.
… we continue to look to God’s wisdom and guidance through prayer and his Word as he leads us, trusting that he has good plans for us.
Redeemer is also investing in student wellness and mental health. This year we celebrated the opening of an expanded student wellness centre, which now houses physical and mental health services in one space. Read more about this space and the services available to students.
With the completion of Learn. Forward., Redeemer is embarking on a new dynamic strategic planning process that sets out a vision for the next 10 years. We are excited to launch the plan this fall. Though we don’t know all that God has in store for Redeemer’s next decade, we continue to look to God’s wisdom and guidance through prayer and his Word as he leads us, trusting that he has good plans for us.
