The President Search Committee (PSC) met on June 6, 2017 with staff from search firm JobfitMatters (JFM). The firm explained its search process, which will employ a variety of tools to seek and evaluate candidates for president. The committee was very pleased with JFM’s experience, expertise and proposed plan of action. The next steps in the search process includes the creation of an Opportunity Profile and video, the placement of ads and the circulation of information to other organizations and institutions.

The staff of JFM also spent two days on campus, meeting with individuals from various parts of the Redeemer community and holding drop-in “listening posts” as well.

The committee will next meet in late June to review the Organizational Profile and the video script.

The committee asks that you remember the following items in prayer:

  • Give thanks that the relationship between the committee and JFM has begun very well
  • Give thanks for the experience and expertise provided by JFM, and that they are developing a solid understanding of Redeemer’s vision and needs
  • That the Committee and JFM will be able to meet the aggressive timeline they have created for the next steps in the process
  • That the Spirit may work in the hearts of prospective suitable candidates so that they may feel a call to consider this position

Ed Bosveld, Chair
President Search Committee
