The President Search Committee has met twice in the last two weeks. We have successfully agreed on a list of candidates to interview. While it has been extremely challenging to narrow our list of candidates to our final group of interviewees, we are thankful for the unity that our committee has experienced. We look forward to the second week in January when we intend to commence the interview process. We have truly felt the prayerful support of our community as we strive to find the next leader of Redeemer University College.

The Committee asks that you continue to pray for the search process. In particular:

  • We give thanks for all of the candidates who have participated in our search to this point. We are humbled by the way they have poured themselves into this process and the large investment they have made to explore this opportunity with us.
  • Pray for those candidates who have not been selected as they deal with news that is likely disappointing and they continue to discern God’s will for their lives.
  • We are thankful that there has been a strong degree of agreement between members of the President Search Committee during the decision-making process.
  • Pray for guidance and clarity as we plan for and begin the interview process.
