Class of 2003

Growing up in Hamilton, there was a lot of pressure on us high school science students to continue our studies at bigger universities.  However, I felt the Lord directing me to Redeemer for science, and I’m so glad I did.  Not only were the class sizes smaller and the lab facilities excellent, but there was an integration of the science curriculum with personal faith that other institutions simply did not offer.  After graduation, I completed a diploma in cancer diagnostics and enjoyed working in that field in Winnipeg for several years.  As the job market changed, however, I decided to return to full-time study towards a B.A. in Biblical Studies at another institution out west.  My Redeemer credits were readily transferred, and the foundation I received from my worldview and Bible courses at Redeemer prepared me well for this new season.  Since leaving Redeemer, I have published a devotional book for women entitled All My Love, All My Life, coached students in achieving their academic and personal goals, and participated in music and children’s ministries.  With my two degrees, I now look forward to embarking on a new career that involves mentoring and coaching people towards a holistic wellness that is scientifically sound and Biblically based.
