Who We Are: Redeemer’s Identity
Redeemer is a Christian university. The school body is inter-denominational, with over 50+ denominations represented. Our roots are in the Reformed tradition which means we view Jesus Christ as having Lordship over all creation and believe that the Bible alone is the authoritative Word of God for our lives. As a liberal arts and sciences university, Redeemer’s education is rooted in an inter-disciplinary core curriculum taken by every student. This means our programs are well-rounded and flexible and encourages students to develop their gifts as they prepare for the realities of a fast-paced, constantly changing world and workforce. Redeemer offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degrees.

Each year, Redeemer hosts Dinner with the President events for parents of future or prospective students. Enjoy a catered meal while meeting with Redeemer’s administration, faculty, and admissions staff.
