For our first event, Dr. Kevin Flatt will be speaking on “A Century of Change: Canada’s Protestant Churches in the Twentieth Century.” Dr. Flatt will look at how a country covered in evangelical churches in 1900 end up one of the most secular countries in the world a century later. In his talk, historian Dr. Flatt will explore the collapse of the mainline Protestant churches, the survival and transformation of an evangelical remnant, and the profound impact of these changes on Canadian society as a whole.
