See The Rivals, a satirical comedy about new and old money on holiday. Tucked away at an exclusive resort, the rivals battle, using love letters, double-crosses and gallant duels, for an advantageous match. Take in our modern spin on the crackling wit of Sheridan’s eighteenth century classic, performed in the Redeemer Auditorium from March 21 to 25.

Approximate running time is two and a half hours. Showtimes are as follows:

Tuesday: 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday through Saturday: 7:30 p.m.

For tickets, please contact the box office at 905-648-2131 x4211. Online tickets and more information on dinner and lunch packages are available at tickets.redeemer.ca.

Mainstage productions are an expression of Redeemer’s mission to understand and respond to human culture. Our shows allow our actors and audience to explore the brokenness, ambivalence, confusion and humour that are all part of the human experience. With each play, we seek to give our actors and audience time to reflect on where God is in life’s messiness and how he can be found by people who are far from perfect.

The Rivals is recommended for audiences 12 years of age and older. The play includes some mature language and themes. Please use your discretion when bringing along young audiences to The Rivals.
