About

Dr. Ricardo-Martín Marroquín has taught at Redeemer University for 15 years.  In his time at Redeemer, he has taught both Italian and Spanish introductory courses.  Additionally, he has also supported the community workshop that Redeemer launched in 2012, by teaching two Italian workshops.  Ricardo is also an assessor for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and welcomes students around the world to the city.  In this assignment, he assesses the student’s level of literacy and numeracy and then provides feedback to the schools about each student. He has also been working with the school board for 15 years.  Finally, Ricardo is a writer of both fictional and non-fiction novels and pedagogical articles. 

Ricardo lives in Ancaster; a short walk from campus.  He and his wife, Angela, have 2 young children.  Ricardo enjoys running, working out, writing novels, speaking Italian, playing soccer, volleyball, and basketball, and cooking Peruvian food.
