About
Ricardo has taught at Redeemer University for 20 years. In his time at Redeemer, he has taught both Italian and Spanish introductory courses. Additionally, he has also supported the community workshop that Redeemer launched in 2012, by teaching 2 Italian workshops. Ricardo is also the assessor for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and welcomes students around the world to the city. In this assignment, he assesses the student’s level of literacy and numeracy and then provides feedback to the schools about each student. He has also been working with the school board for 17 years. Finally, Ricardo is writer of both fictional and non-fiction novels and pedagogical articles.
Ricardo lives in Ancaster; a short walk from campus. He and his wife, Angela, have 2 young children. Ricardo enjoys running, working out, writing novels, speaking Italian, playing soccer, volleyball and basketball and cooking Peruvian food.
