Alexandria Middlemiss is an educator, researcher, and advocate in the field of education. With an unwavering commitment to fostering a love for learning and innovative teaching practices, she has developed expertise in mathematics, environmental and outdoor education. Her ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies at Western University, focused on teaching for sustainability through outdoor STEAM education, demonstrates her dedication to creating a more sustainable and inclusive world. Alexandria’s extensive experience in both elementary and secondary schools showcases her passion for educational excellence and her ability to inspire both students and colleagues. With a deeply held passion for teaching and learning, she is dedicated to shaping the future of learning and empowering the next generation. When she is not teaching or studying, she enjoys traveling, music, spending quality time with her family, and enjoying God’s beautiful creation through outdoor pursuits.
