Rooted in a Reformed Biblical worldview, and including a diverse community representing over 50 Christian denominations, Redeemer seeks to answer the fundamental questions about where we fit into God’s story while it prepares students to engage in society’s biggest challenges. A rigorous academic program with an interdisciplinary core is supported by a vibrant community characterized by caring discipleship. The result is an enriching and transformational educational experience integrating faith, learning and service.
Redeemer offers 41 majors and streams that lead to either a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Business Administration degree. The university expects to welcome about 1000 students in the fall, served by approximately 200 faculty and staff.
The social media creator (SMC) is an experienced content marketer with a gift for giving brands a voice and building an engaged audience across Redeemer’s social media platforms. Comfortable in a flexible, yet fast-paced work environment, the SMC maintains a posting calendar by creating engaging content with writing, video, photos and graphic design. In addition to content creation, the SMC is responsible for social media community engagement and reputation management, responding to questions and comments and proactively interacting with individuals and organizations. Occasionally, the SMC’s skills in photography and videography support the university’s wider media needs.
