About

Meaghan MacKie is an adjunct faculty member of the Kinesiology and Physical Education Department, who joined Redeemer in 2016. She enjoys integrating clinical expertise and practical applications of academic content into the courses she teaches. She is thankful to be a part of providing faith-based education and hopes that Redeemer graduates can become an even larger part of building our healthcare system in the future.

Meaghan is also a registered physiotherapist who specializes in the rehabilitation of individuals who have sustained spinal cord injuries. She is currently practicing in outpatient rehabilitation at Hamilton Health Sciences. In her practice, she has noted gaps in caring for these individuals across their lifespan. So, she has also partnered with Lemonade Physiotherapy in New Hamburg to provide financially accessible, community-based, specialized physiotherapy services to individuals with neurological conditions.
