Frequently Asked Questions about Graduation
How do graduation tickets work?
Only ticket-holders will be admitted to the Graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony is being live streamed for those that cannot attend the ceremony.
What time should I arrive?
The auditorium doors will open at 10am for all ticket-holders. The ceremony will start promptly at 11am.
As per the City of Hamilton, the “link” will be closed both directions the weekend of May 27-30.
I’d like more information about accessible seating at the graduation ceremony.

Where should I meet my graduate after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, all graduates, faculty and guests will gather in the front quad (weather permitting) for a reception including hors d’oeuvres, cake and beverages.
Are cameras and video recorders allowed at the Convocation ceremony?
Yes! We welcome you to bring along a camera or video recorder and capture this special day.
Is there a lost and found for items lost during Convocation?
Items lost during Convocation can be picked up at the Security office on campus.
Does Redeemer offer university-specific graduation gifts?
Redeemer’s bookstore – 21Five – has frames for degrees are available for purchase. On Saturday, May 28 only, the bookstore will be open 1pm-4pm and offering 15% off frames. The bookstore also has Redeemer branded apparel, and grad gifts in store!
