Welcome to Continuous Learning & Education At Redeemer (C.L.E.A.R.)!
We have recently enjoyed a wonderful evening of “Making Sense of Modern Art” with Professor Chris Cuthill. A few days following this informative and engaging lecture, participants met at the Art Gallery of Hamilton to put our newly gained understanding of art to use.
On the 23rd, Dr. Deborah Bowen will be giving a lecture titled, “
Books for Book Clubs: What to Read Next and Why.” This event has received an enormous positive response.
Upcoming for March is a lecture by Dr. Ryan O’Dowd titled, “
Going Local: Should we Restore Community Living Today?” which will guide us through some of the moral, political, economic and social issues involved in conscientiously living “local” in a global world. I hope you will register for this interesting and relevant discussion of a current social trend.
On March 30th at 12 noon, C.L.E.A.R. will be hosting an inaugural event for our new Business and Life stream of topics relevant to the business community. Dr. Theodore Roosevelt Malloch will speak on the concepts laid out in his book
Spiritual Enterprise: Doing Virtuous Business. Dr. Ted Malloch is an internationally recognized speaker, consultant, and author and believes that spiritual enterprise can rehabilitate the notion of big business as a force for good in society. This talk will be presented during a luncheon in the Executive Dining Room. The cost for the event includes the book
Spiritual Enterprise.
Registration is required for these events. To register, fill out the
Registration Form.
