Overview

Theatre Arts is a Bachelor of Arts degree program within the Theatre Arts Department. It is offered as a major and as a minor.

Something special happens when we create theatre at Redeemer — we establish a community that tells stories of God, His people, and His world. You will be challenged to think and respond authentically, whether you are on stage in the spotlight or working behind the scenes. Because you were created to be fully alive, Theatre Arts uses the whole human being — body, mind, and spirit — to tell these stories. As you are challenged to explore the range of human experience through observation, analysis, literature, storytelling, music and performance, you will work with a number of dedicated teachers and professional directors — all of whom offer a fresh and unique approach to broaden your experience as scholars, actors, directors, technicians, and playwrights.
